Andy Stone is a versatile drummer, educator, and bandleader based in Brooklyn New York.

Andy has been fortunate to have studied with some of the best musicians in the world including: Ari Hoenig, Derico Watson, Keith Hall, Marcus Finnie, Mike Richmond, and Todd London. During his time at NYU he was also able to participate in ensembles directed by Adam Rodgers, Chris Potter, and Dezron Douglas. This diverse lineup of teachers and mentors has prepared Andy to blend into a wide variety of playing scenarios.

Prior to his move to New York, Andy lived in Nashville TN where he performed regularly supporting many up and coming artists across musical genres. While in Nashville he also performed regularly on the infamous “Broadway Strip.”

Currently Andy Stone lives and works in Brooklyn New York, where he gigs and performs regularly with his peers on the “New York Scene.” He has a M.M. in Jazz Studies from New York University, as well as a B.A. in Commercial Music Performance from Belmont University.
